About Us
The objectives of the Association shall be
(a) to promote the games of amateur baseball and softball throughout the area in which the organization shall operate. It shall be a not-for-profit organization, civic in its nature and intent, and shall work for the benefit, amusement, education, and enjoyment of amateur baseball and softball.
(b) to instill the ideals of good sportsmanship, fair play, honesty, loyalty, and courage in the youth and parents who participate under the auspices of the organization.
(c) to provide supervised athletic contests and activities and to assist in all ways to alleviate the problem of juvenile delinquency.
(d) to afford the opportunity to every boy and girl who expresses a desire and proves their interest to play ball regardless of physical abilities.
(e) to place teams in leagues / divisions which it feels best according to that team’s qualifications and abilities.
(f) to obtain the best available leadership for all participants, not only as coaches and managers, but umpires, executives, and any other officer or organizational leadership position as required.
(g) to obtain and maintain adequate finances to carry out the objectives of the organization which shall include, but not limit, the right to incur indebtedness.
(h) to obtain any and all equipment / material necessary to provide maximum individual player safety and field preparedness.
(i) to maintain the necessary playing facilities as required to perform the objectives described in item (a) above.
(j) to establish any rule or regulation which ensures compliance of these by-laws.
